Planning Senior Officer

Key Accountabilities:

The Senior Planning Officer plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations within the automotive plant. The position works closely with cross functional teams to achieve corporate objectives. The role requires strong analytical capability, plant experience, and the ability to manage planning activities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Specific Accountabilities:

Planning

- Prepare, and develop annual business plans, mid-term plans, and budgets in alignment with corporate objectives.

- Translate strategic objectives into plans, timelines, and performance targets.

- Monitor, track, and control plan to ensure on time delivery and full achievement.

Reports

- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly management reports and prepare presentations.

- Identify operational risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities, and escalate critical issues with top management.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all planning and reporting activities.

Problem solving

- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills by identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective solutions to improve operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.

Cross Functional Coordination

- Lead and coordinate cross functional collaboration with other departments to achieve plant objectives and operational targets.

Experience:

- Minimum of 45 years of experience.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong focus on PowerPoint and Excel.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.

- Preferential understanding of the automotive business, or Plant business.
