Job Description:
The Plant Controller will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of financial information, compliance with accounting standards, and the development of financial strategies to support the company's goals. The candidate will be a business partner to the plant team and responsible for accurate accounting of fixed assets of the company.
Responsibilities
Product Costing:
- Review BOM and Routing with production team on regular basis.
- Close coordination with Supply Chain to understand material costs and trend.
- Actual costing and Forecasting material cost and Industrial Opex.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting principles.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate on the annual budget, monitor variances, and provide decision-making insights.
- Lead the development of financial forecasts and cash flow projections.
Internal Controls:
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct regular reviews to address control weaknesses and ensure regulatory compliance.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis for strategic decision-making.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance business performance.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and provide ongoing training opportunities.
Audit Management:
- Coordinate external audits, prepare schedules, and implement recommendations.
Business Partnering:
Collaborate closely with Plant associates providing all needed financial analysis for business purposes and decision making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting and Costing (Advanced Costing/Accounting/CMA preferred).
- 5-7 years experience in plant finance and costing in a FMCG company.
- SAP FICO experience- Hands on Standard and Actual costing experience (SAP S/4 Hana preferred)
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Fluency in English (Bilingual- Arabic and English preferred)
