Plant Maintenance Section Head

Reporting to: Maintenance Manager

Are you a seasoned maintenance leader with strong experience in food manufacturing environments We are looking for a Maintenance Section Head – Factory to lead all maintenance activities across our production facilities, including pasteurized juice lines, fresh juice operations, Greek yogurt production, and central kitchen equipment.

This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role where your technical expertise will directly impact production continuity, food safety, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency. From preventive maintenance planning to managing critical breakdowns, you will lead a skilled technical team and ensure the factory operates at peak performance.

What will you be doing

• Lead and manage the factory maintenance team responsible for all production lines and utilities.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure maximum equipment uptime and minimal production downtime.
• Oversee maintenance of processing, pasteurization, dairy, filling, packaging, and central kitchen equipment.
• Manage factory utilities including HVAC, refrigeration systems, boilers, compressors, electrical systems, water treatment, and plumbing.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP), occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align maintenance schedules with production plans.
• Manage third-party contractors, service providers, and equipment suppliers in line with SLAs.
• Prepare and control the maintenance budget, including spare parts planning, inventory control, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support installation, commissioning, and handover of new machinery, production lines, and factory improvement projects.
• Build, mentor, and evaluate the maintenance team; set KPIs and monitor performance and skill development.
• Prepare regular reports on maintenance KPIs, breakdown analysis, costs, risks, and improvement initiatives for senior management.

What are we looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience in maintenance; preferably in FMCG manufacturing
• Strong technical knowledge of food processing equipment, refrigeration systems, utilities, and industrial maintenance practices
• Proven ability to lead a field team, coordinate with cross – functional departments, and manage vendors effectively
• Strong ability to design preventive maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage time-sensitive repairs
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
