Opportunity Overview
An exciting opportunity to lead a high-volume bakery manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal, with full accountability for plant operations and the leadership of a large, multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- The role provides end-to-end leadership across all plant operations, including production, maintenance, hygiene and warehousing.
- You will develop and execute operational strategies aligned with wider business objectives, while driving automation, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensuring full compliance and audit readiness across food safety, health and environmental standards is critical.
- You will collaborate closely with corporate teams across the UAE and KSA and build strong engagement with farming operations, particularly during peak harvest periods.
Key Ingredients
- You will bring more than 10 years experience within industrial bakery manufacturing, including a minimum of five years in a senior management role.
- Strong technical expertise in bakery production processes is essential, with hands-on experience in automation, specifically Radermaker, Rondo and Fritsch systems.
- Proven experience across donuts, bread and viennoiserie production is required.
- You will have a strong track record of building, leading and developing large teams through periods of transformation and change.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, with English required and Arabic highly preferred.
- You will be resilient, adaptable and confident influencing at all levels, including senior leadership and farm-based teams.
- Experience in the GCC, particularly Saudi Arabia, is advantageous but not essential.
