Role Description
The Plant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Alexandria merghm. The Plant Manager will oversee daily plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing activities. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, coordinating resources, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role also involves leading and developing plant teams, optimizing workflows, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with leadership on operational planning and performance targets. The Plant Manager will work closely with maintenance, supply chain, and quality departments to support seamless operations and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Plant Management and Plant Operations to oversee end-to-end manufacturing activities.
• Candidates should possess solid Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations skills to drive efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Production Planning to manage capacity, scheduling, and resource allocation effectively.
• Proven experience in managing teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or related sectors.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards, with a track record of promoting safe work practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and process optimization.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience with production management software, KPIs, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is beneficial.
