Plant Manager (Oil & Gas)

POSITION SUMMARY

This role will be accountable for the functional objectives (Safety, Quality and Compliance), business (Budget and Cost) and broad company objectives. In addition, as the Plant Manager/Senior Plant Manager, the incumbent will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning and strategy for the plant as well as Human Resources.

The incumbent will undertake any or all of the following and has authority for:

Involve in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy

Provide leadership to all organizations and individuals in the plant in order to meet customer requirements for quality, cost and delivery

Provide development of Staff Leaders to guide plant and support organizations

Work with customers, functional leaders and internal staff to meet organizational requirements

Lead the establishment and attainment of plant goals in quality, cost, delivery, compliance and safety

Certify the plant to API 6A, maintaining all ISO certification standards

Establish and maintain the plant vision for success as dictated by Headquarter

Facilitate the leadership team in operational decision-making and problem-solving

Provide leadership development and performance feedback to the plant staff

Work with local legislative bodies to ensure all operating and business permits remain valid and up to date.Any changes will need to be flagged and actioned

Develop and track expense and investment budgets

Establish and adjust an organizational structure that best supports the plant goals and measurements

Create a local manufacturing team for the future

Functional objectives need to be obtained from Group Functional Leads such as Quality, HSSE, Finance etc working in conjunction with the President & CEO/location General Manager
