Department: Group Digital Employee Platform
We are seeking a Platform Architect to drive the strategy and architecture of our Employee Experience Products, including the Employee Productivity Portal, Talent Management & Acquisition, Learning & Development and Employee listening solutions. In this role, you will define technology roadmaps, ensure solutions align with business goals, and oversee end-to-end product lifecycle management from design to maintenance. You will lead platform architecture governance, evaluate vendor solutions, and ensure quality through testing and integration. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and the ability to translate business needs into scalable, fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
DELIVERS ON CAPABILITIES:
Full adoption of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an agile environment (SAFe / DevSecOps);
Joint ownership of Digital Platform roadmap with the Product Manager; Innovation to enrich the platform
Platform Architecture & Design in alignment with the Digital Platform roadmap, Enterprise Architecture & TOGAF framework;
UI/UX Design
Platform Development & Configuration
Digital Platform Integration with other Platforms;
Collaboration & knowledge sharing with Enterprise and other downstream & upstream Platform Architects
Platform Quality Assurance & Testing
Digital platforms security, integrity, Solution & Infrastructure Interfaces
Vendor management
Business Partnering including supporting adoption
KEY OUTCOMES:
Develop and align Digital Platform roadmap with Product Manager and Enterprise Architecture
Develop & integrate Product & Platform Enablers roadmaps
Design guidelines for Product Development
Optimal design solutions fitting into Enterprise Architecture; Maintaining the Digital Platform conceptual integrity over time
Technology/engineering know-how for programs and solution; Matching technology with customer needs
Optimal allocation of responsibilities to sub-platforms
Enabler Epics for sub-platforms, technology, security and interfaces
Capacity allocation for enablement
Enablers implemented (Define, explore, and support the implementation)
Verify that the digital platform as built as per the requirements
Architecting and implementing SharePoint solutions/websites, with a specific focus on enhancing employee engagement and collaboration using Viva Suite.
Oversee the website's development and launch, addressing any technical issues that arise promptly and effectively.
Accountable to secure the Solution Documentation is kept up-to-date.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS
Minimum 5 years of experience in at least one core module of the Microsoft Office productivity suite (e.g., SharePoint, Yammer, Teams, Azure).
1+ years of experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform.
Copilot experience or familiarity with MS search & Gen AI search.
Modern (New) SharePoint experience as an architect with global navigation & hub structure for intranet/employee experience portal.
Part of a companywide reboot of internal communication, collaboration or digital employee experience
Viva or Yammer experience as an architect, including experience with MS Adaptive Cards.
Azure AI search
Experience with Workday, SAP adaptive cards would be considered an asset.
