Platforms Project Manager

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of projects

focused on the development, enhancement, and rollout of our core software platforms (e.g., AI/Data, Integration, etc.). You will work closely with platform engineering teams, product owners, architects, and stakeholders to ensure platform initiatives are delivered efficiently on schedule and meet the strategic objectives of enabling other development teams and business capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of platform development projects, from concept and

planning to delivery and operational handover.

Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements for platform

initiatives.

Develop comprehensive project plans, track progress rigorously, and manage scope,

schedule, and budget changes.

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies associated with platform development

and deployment.

Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure

adherence to Agile/Scrum principles where applicable.

Coordinate efforts between platform engineering teams, infrastructure teams, security, and

consuming application teams.

Manage communication effectively, providing clear status updates, reports, and metrics to

stakeholders and leadership.

Ensure alignment between platform roadmaps and project execution.

Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes within the project context.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master

degree is preferred).

Relevant certifications (PMP, CSM, CSPO) are highly preferred.

Experience:

6+ years of experience in technical project management or program management.

Proven experience managing software development projects, particularly backend

systems or platforms.

Experience managing projects related to platform engineering or core infrastructure

software development within a major technology company (highly preferred).

Experience managing projects in complex industrial or large-scale enterprise technology

environments (highly preferred).

Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS

Project) highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies

(Agile, Scrum, Kanban).

Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Technical background sufficient to understand platform engineering challenges.
