Play-Zone Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a Play-Zone Lead to join our team at Sensation Station. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, creative and experienced individual who is passionate about creating fun, engaging and memorable experiences for children.

As the Play-Zone Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of the Play-Zone, lead and support the Play Team and create an environment where children feel inspired, confident and excited to explore through play. You will play a key role in developing new experiences, running engaging programmes and ensuring every child and family has a positive and memorable visit.

Candidate Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare, recreation, family entertainment or a similar role, with hands-on experience working with children.

· Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.

· A creative thinker who can develop out-of-the-box ideas for games, activities and events that encourage curiosity, imagination and participation.

· Good understanding of child development, play-based learning and child safety practices.

· Fluent in English with flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

 Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the daily operation of the Play-Zone, ensuring a safe, exciting and enjoyable experience for children and families.

· Lead, train and support the Play Team to deliver high-quality service and engaging play experiences.

· Design and run creative clubs, workshops, group activities and special events that encourage children's creativity, confidence and social development.

· Continuously develop new games, activities and experiences by bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the Play-Zone.

· Ensure all play areas, equipment, and activities meet high standards of safety, cleanliness, organisation, and readiness.

· Manage daily operations including team schedules, inventory, checklists and communication with Reception and other departments.

· Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues while ensuring excellent customer service and resolving any operational matters.
