Key Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for defining and governing PLM processes, including configuration management, change management, release, and data lifecycle policies
- Is responsible for establishing and maintaining product structures (e.g., EBOM), zones, configuration item (CI) definitions, and revision/version control strategies
- Is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining PLM workflows, including review and approval processes for engineering data
- Is responsible for configuring and administering the PLM system (e.g., Teamcenter), including data models, workflows, access controls, and system settings
- Acts as the primary interface between engineering, IT, quality, configuration, production and external vendors/partners for PLM system implementation and support
- Is responsible for integrating PLM with other enterprise systems such as CAD (e.g., Siemens NX), ERP, and other engineering tools
- Ensures data integrity, consistency, and traceability across all product lifecycle stages
- Is responsible for defining and enforcing naming conventions, numbering systems, and data standards for engineering and product data
- Supports engineering teams in proper usage of PLM tools and processes, including training and user guidance
- Monitors system performance, identifies issues, and coordinates resolution with internal teams and external service providers
- Leads continuous improvement initiatives related to PLM processes, system usage, and digital engineering capabilities
- Supports audits and ensures compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements related to product data and configuration control
- Maintains documentation of PLM processes, system configurations, and user guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in PLM, configuration management, or engineering data management within aerospace or complex engineering environments.
- Hands-on experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) including configuration and administration.
- Strong understanding of configuration management principles, product structures (EBOM), and engineering change processes.
- Experience with CAD integrations (e.g., Siemens NX).
- Ability to translate business and engineering needs into system and process solutions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with external vendors or system integrators is a plus.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements related to configuration and data management is preferred.
