Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all plumbing systems throughout the hotel.
Maintain domestic water supply, hot and cold water systems, drainage, sewage, stormwater, irrigation, and water distribution networks.
Inspect, repair, and replace water supply lines, valves, fittings, pipes, sanitary fixtures, and associated plumbing equipment.
Install, repair, and maintain wash basins, WCs, urinals, showers, mixers, faucets, flush valves, and plumbing accessories.
Perform maintenance and servicing of water heaters, calorifiers, circulation pumps, pressure vessels, expansion tanks, booster pump systems, and water treatment equipment.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues including water leakage, low water pressure, drainage blockages, pipe failures, and equipment malfunctions.
Maintain plumbing systems serving guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, kitchens, laundry, spa, swimming pool, and other hotel facilities.
Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of grease traps, floor drains, sewage pumps, sump pumps, and related drainage systems.
Respond promptly to guest requests and plumbing-related complaints while maintaining the highest luxury hospitality standards and minimizing disruption to guests.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and other departments to ensure guest rooms and facilities are returned to service promptly following maintenance works.
Carry out daily inspections of plumbing systems and equipment, identifying and reporting any abnormalities or potential risks to the Chief Engineer.
Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with the hotel's Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
Coordinate with external contractors during major plumbing repairs, renovation works, and specialized maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, job cards, and plumbing logbooks in accordance with hotel procedures.
Report recurring defects and recommend corrective actions to improve the reliability and efficiency of plumbing systems.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements, local regulations, and environmental standards.
Promote water conservation initiatives by identifying leaks, reducing water wastage, and supporting the hotel's sustainability objectives.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, ensuring proper care and storage of tools and equipment.
Support emergency maintenance activities and be available to work flexible shifts, weekends, public holidays, and on-call duties when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Plumber in a luxury hotel, resort, or large commercial facility.
Valid trade certification (where applicable).
Good command of spoken and written English.
