Salary: $100,000 - $105,000 per yearStart Date: As soon as possibleJob SummaryJoin a global operational support leader as a Plumber responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of sanitary sewer systems (SSS) in support of base operations in Doha, Qatar. This role supports both technical service execution and training of military personnel, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient system performance in accordance with U.S. Air Force (USAF) and Vectrus standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform operations, maintenance, and repair (OM&R) activities for sanitary sewer systems, including regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Service and maintain equipment such as submersible pumps, macerators, valves, alarm systems, and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Document all maintenance activities in the Sanitary Management System (SMS) and ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions using lesson plans and performance objectives to educate military trainees.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and logic diagrams to identify and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Provide on-site support during emergencies or complex service requests.
  • Execute preventive maintenance including coil cleaning, system adjustments, and operational checks per manufacturer and code requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with all Vectrus, OSHA, and USAF safety standards.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and professional workspace and uphold company and government property standards.
  • Participate in comprehensive training, safety, and reporting programs, including proper timekeeping and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet mission and contract objectives.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience specializing in sanitary sewer systems maintenance and repair.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively during technical instruction and collaboration.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience may substitute for one year of education if a degree is required.
  • Valid U.S. Passport and Driver's License (manual transmission capability required).
  • Must hold and maintain a U.S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
  • Must pass flight line access testing and obtain Air Force flight line driver's license.
  • Successful completion of CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) defense training required.
  • Must pass all medical, psychological, dental, and background screening for deployment eligibility.
Preferred Certifications
  • EPA 608 License or equivalent certification.
  • Experience training or instructing military personnel.
  • Technical proficiency with PLC-based control systems.
