Job Description

About the Role:

This role is responsible for collecting and validating data across the project population sources against source systems, and for maintaining the Tasks & Issues Log and metrics extraction dashboard on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and validate the Tasks & Issues Log and metrics extraction dashboard on a day-to-day basis.
  • Chase outstanding submissions and data gaps
  • Support reconciliation of the project population master list
  • Perform first-pass sanity checks on reported figures

Construction Industry Knowledge Required

  • Working familiarity with construction project reporting cycles and terminology — RAG status, WIP, CPI/SPI, EAC — sufficient to sanity-check a figure, though not necessarily to challenge it independently.
  • Basic comfort reading a project dashboard or schedule extract (Power BI, P6) well enough to spot an obviously stale or inconsistent entry.
  • Understands that data submitted by an entity is a starting point to be checked, not a finished answer.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years in a PMO, reporting, or business analyst function, ideally within construction or infrastructure.
  • Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools.
  • Experience chasing data from multiple stakeholders on a deadline, across organisational boundaries.
  • Genuine construction industry experience is important; transferable skills from another sector alone are not sufficient for this role.
