Job Purpose:
Develop and oversee ADCG's strategic project charters and
plans, track timelines and performance against targets, establish a Project
Management framework with supporting engagement initiatives and strategy, and
align workstreams to ensure efficient project delivery.
Core Responsibilities:
- Participate in early evaluations of projects to understand
the strategic objectives, particularly within construction, real estate, and
large capital projects. - Provide the early voice on project planning, risks, and
challenges across the full development lifecycle (design, tendering,
procurement, execution, QA/QC). - Develop a comprehensive project plan (in conjunction with
corporate and subsidiary teams) which includes all work stream and functional
team tasks to achieve success: - Define Project Strategy and Guiding Principles
- Determine Project Governance
- Develop & Monitor Risk Management Plan
- Develop & Monitor Integration Plans
- Develop & Monitor Communication Plans
- Develop & Monitor Staffing & Retention Plans
- Develop & Monitor Legal Plans
- Capture Project Lessons Learned
- Participate in project budgeting activities
- Monitor and report project financial aspects
- Monitor and report on integration and synergy plans
- Lead all aspects of project plan working with a team of
functional champions from across the Group companies. - Work closely with the real estate subsidiaries, ensuring
alignment and driving timely delivery of projects to the expected quality
standards. - Monitor status and rapidly identify risks and issues
pertaining to a project, succinctly communicate those issues to the appropriate
teams, and work the issues to resolve before project value deteriorates. - Report on progress to the executive management and key
stakeholders and be the single point of contact for all stakeholders. - Manage stakeholder relationships; identify and establish
partnerships with stakeholders to build support and secure sponsorship. - Develop PMP best practices for ADCG.
- Manage other cross-functional project teams of various sizes
based on company need; proactively communicate integration issues as they arise
and provide follow-up on outstanding items with appropriate team members. - Communicate project priorities, monitor, and escalate
unresolved issues. - Assist in developing strategies and action plans to improve
and standardize all aspects of the project. - Identify and implement technology and services to enable
process changes and implement them throughout ADCG and its subsidiaries. - Develop & update PM framework, Policies, Procedures.
- Monitor and control project budgets.
Strategic responsibilities:
- Ensure that ADCG has a sound PM plan linked to its vision
and mission that meets stakeholder requirements and manage the systems to
continuously review PMO performance and take timely action to review the plan
and the process as required to enhance results. - Apply deep engineering knowledge (preferably Civil
Engineering) to ensure technical and operational rigor across all capital
projects. - Embed quality assurance and quality control standards across
project design, development, procurement, and execution stages to ensure
compliance and operational excellence. - Provide technical oversight and ensure alignment of project
execution with industry best practices in construction and real estate. - Experience and Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Civil), Project
Management, Business, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred. - 10+ years experience in construction, real estate, or
capital projects, with at least 7 years in project management within the
construction domain. - Proven ability to deliver complex projects end-to-end, from
strategy and planning through to execution and performance tracking.
