Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Oracle ERP/HCM Project/Program Manager to lead and deliver enterprise-wide initiatives across Oracle ERP and HCM platforms. This role combines strategic program oversight with hands-on project execution, ensuring successful delivery of complex implementations, enhancements, and integrations aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to drive end-to-end delivery within a PMO framework. This role also requires agility to operate in hybrid delivery models, including Agile/Scrum, and may involve acting as a Scrum Master where required. Additionally, the role will oversee smaller initiatives independently while contributing to larger transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities:-
Oracle ERP/HCM Project Delivery:-
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Oracle ERP and HCM projects, including implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, technical artifacts, and documentation aligned with PMO standards and SDLC governance.
Program & Stakeholder Management:-
- Collaborate with business leaders, HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to align ERP/HCM solutions with organizational goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project communications, ensuring transparency, alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Agile & Scrum Execution:-
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) as a Scrum Master when required.
- Drive Agile best practices to enhance team collaboration, delivery speed, and quality.
Independent Project Ownership:-
- Manage multiple small-to-mid sized Oracle ERP/HCM initiatives independently within the PMO framework.
- Oversee vendor-led implementations and ensure deliverables meet quality, scope, and timeline expectations.
Solution Consulting & Process Optimization:-
- Analyze existing ERP/HCM processes, workflows, and system performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize business processes and system utilization.
Risk, Compliance & Security:-
- Identify project risks, system vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps; develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to security standards, data privacy regulations, and internal governance policies.
Implementation & Change Management:-
- Drive solution deployment, integration, testing, and go-live activities.
- Lead user training, change management, and adoption strategies to ensure successful implementation outcomes.
Documentation & Reporting:-
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including BRDs, FSDs, technical specifications, and process flows.
- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and reports on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
Continuous Improvement:-
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvement within ERP/HCM ecosystems.
- Contribute to PMO best practices and organizational capability maturity.
Position Scope:-
- Develop and manage detailed project/program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Perform gap analysis, process mapping, and solution design to define optimal execution strategies.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle ERP/HCM solutions in collaboration with technical teams and vendors.
- Ensure quality assurance, governance compliance, and approval of all project deliverables.
- Manage full project lifecycle including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and transition to support.
- Handle scope, cost, schedule, risk, and vendor management effectively across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Qualifications:-
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8–10+ years of experience in Project/Program Management, with strong exposure to Oracle ERP and/or HCM implementations.
- Proven experience managing full lifecycle ERP/HCM projects (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement modules).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, system integrations, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); Scrum Master experience preferred.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, MS Project, and reporting dashboards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications preferred.
