Job Description:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Performance Management System (PMS) aligned with the organization's objectives and values.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and HR to ensure the PMS supports talent development and organizational performance goals.
  • Review and update PMS processes, policies, and tools to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Integrate performance management with other HR systems (e.g., Learning & Development, Succession Planning).
  • Lead the annual performance review process, ensuring timely completion of performance appraisals by managers.
  • Coordinate with managers and employees to facilitate goal setting, mid-year check-ins, and final performance reviews.
  • Provide guidance on performance rating systems, feedback delivery, and calibration of performance ratings.
  • Ensure consistency and fairness in performance evaluations across departments.
  • Support managers in identifying performance gaps and developing targeted improvement plans.
  • Develop and deliver training for managers on effective performance feedback, coaching, and development conversations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous feedback and development, encouraging regular one-on-one meetings between managers and employees.
  • Coordinate with Learning & Development teams to ensure employee development needs are addressed.
  • Track and analyze performance data to measure the effectiveness of the PMS.
  • Prepare regular reports on performance trends, including individual, team, and organizational performance metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on areas of improvement based on performance data.
  • Monitor key PMS metrics such as employee engagement, productivity, and goal completion rates.
  • Continuously assess and refine the PMS to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up to date with best practices and trends in performance management and recommend improvements to the system.
  • Implement feedback loops from managers and employees to improve PMS tools and processes.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of the PMS with other HR functions like rewards and recognition, compensation, and career development.

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree in HR, Organizational Behavior, or Business Administration is a plus.
  • 7-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years focused on performance management or employee development.
  • Certifications in Performance Management (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, etc.) or a similar qualification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of performance management principles and practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and performance management software.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to use performance data to drive decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure processes are followed consistently.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle complex tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of learning and development programs and employee career development frameworks.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams to implement organizational changes.
