Portal Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Liferay DXP 7.4 in enterprise-scale environments

• Work with Liferay architecture, OSGi framework, modules, and portal internals

• Perform Linux/Unix administration, shell scripting, and log analysis

• Manage and optimize Elasticsearch, Redis, and web servers (Apache, Nginx)

• Configure and maintain clustering, load balancing, and high-availability environments

• Execute portal upgrades, migrations, and version transitions

• Apply patches, fix packs, and hotfixes to ensure platform stability

• Perform performance tuning across JVM, database, search, and caching layers

• Monitor systems using APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics)

• Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA)

• Implement SSO integrations (SAML, LDAP, OAuth) and enforce security best practices

• Manage application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic)

• Work with databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)

• Execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies

• Support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) and automated deployments

• Ensure SSL/TLS, certificate management, and security hardening

• Perform capacity planning, proactive monitoring, and uptime optimization

• Provide production support, including on-call rotations and SLA adherence

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams
