Introduction

Maison Privee is a hospitality technologycompany providing vacation and corporaterentalsthat combine the service and convenience of a premium hotel with the privacy and comfort of home.

Due to the growth in demand for short-term vacation rentals, coupled with the emergence of globally recognized distribution platforms such as Airbnb, Maison Privee was founded in 2017 offering high standards of accommodation and service focused on corporate visitors and discerning tourists.

In April 2018, we closed our Series A funding round at USD $4,000,000 and are rapidly expanding our portfolio of properties throughout the UAE and beyond.

We hand pick luxury properties in the best locations and support them with extensive servicesto ensure that our guests have the best possible experience with every stay.

We are licensed by Dubai Department of Tourism Commerce & Marketing (DTCM) to register and manage properties.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a bright and charismatic Portfolio Development Manager to help grow our property portfolio. You will be responsible for identifying and closing contracts on premium apartments and villas in key locations.

You will be an integral part of our Portfolio Development team bringing on new supply through research, lead development, negotiation and contract closure. This role will draw on strong business development skills and mark you our as a catalyst in the growth of Maison Privee.

Key Accountabilities

• Building supply. Through both proactive and reactive outreach face-to-face, over the phone, and via e-mail. The aim is to build a portfolio of extraordinary homes and inspire trust and confidence in Maison Privee under our property management model.
• Strategic outreach. You will find creative ways to develop partnerships which allow us to add multiple properties to our portfolio from the same owners / companies.
• Being commercially accountable. Our homeowners entrust us with their most valuable asset and they join Maison Privee because our service is simple, secure, and financially-rewarding. You'll be accountable for making sure our homeowners have a good understanding of our offering which supports our account management team in ensuring we can deliver on this and, as a result, enabling us to maximise our commercial capacity.
• Marketing. We know our company is the best option for guests and homeowners alike, building our network and reputation is the best way to grow our portfolio. You will work with the marketing team to strategically target homeowners through our campaigns.
• Relationship building. You will develop a network of homeowners to ensure Maison Privee is the default choice for homeowners and property managers to maximise the commercial value of their properties.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in the UAE. Experience in sales/business development in vacation rentals market is crucial.
• Understanding of the real estate market essential
• Well organized, and can-do attitude.
• Goal-oriented. You take job satisfaction from hitting very ambitious growth targets.
• Personable and empathetic. You're capable and confident in explaining to property investors how best Maison Privee can support them in delivering the best return on their investment.
• Sound judgement, even under pressure, with a thick skin and ability to roll with the punches that come in this industry.
• Commercial acumen and negotiation skills. An analytical approach to portfolio management and growing profitable supply.
• Great communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally.
• Flexibility. This role is fast paced and goals and targets can change. You are adaptable and amenable to change.
• Role is based in Dubai and you will need to travel extensively around Dubai and Abu Dhabi (UAE driving license is a must).
