Our 2,000 global colleagues are driven by our purpose - We Exist to Protect Lives -  designing and delivering innovative survival, fire and safety solutions that perform when lives depend on them.

The Role:

As Portfolio Manager, you will take global ownership of the commercial performance, strategy and lifecycle of Survitec's Fire and Lifeboat portfolio.

This is a highly commercial and strategic role where you will shape where and how the portfolio grows. Combining customer and market insight with product, service, pricing and channel strategy, you will identify opportunities and turn them into clear portfolio priorities and commercially successful propositions.

Working collaboratively across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Technical Sales, Service and Operations, you will help ensure our portfolio remains competitive, profitable and aligned with evolving customer and market needs.

Key responsibilities for the Portfolio Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Define the end-to-end portfolio strategy across products, services and rental offerings, aligned with Survitec's growth objectives. Develop clear positioning and value propositions across product, price, place/channels and promotion.
  • Own the full portfolio lifecycle, from concept and introduction through growth and maturity to end-of-life. Monitor performance including revenue, margin, portfolio mix and service attachment, while managing lifecycle decisions with minimal customer disruption.
  • Lead pricing strategy and optimisation, establishing appropriate pricing guardrails to balance profitability, competitiveness and compliance. Monitor price realisation and margin leakage, maintain price lists and lead annual pricing reviews.
  • Build deep market and customer understanding through customer, competitor and market research covering products, services, pricing and go-to-market strategies. Lead Voice of Customer activity and translate insights into portfolio and product lifecycle decisions.
  • Evaluate new product and offering opportunities, reviewing CDFs and new variant requests alongside Engineering. Support the NPD stage-gate process and ensure new developments are backed by strong commercial evidence and market demand.
  • Enable commercial teams to succeed by working closely with Technical Sales & Support to develop effective sales tools, portfolio knowledge and supporting materials that drive understanding and adoption.
  • Provide portfolio leadership and visibility, preparing and participating in Portfolio Review Meetings and providing clear updates, recommendations and supporting materials for senior stakeholders and Portfolio Board reviews.

You will have the opportunity to develop in your role and feel proud of the work you do. Working at Survitec is fast paced but incredibly rewarding.
