Job Description

Job Purpose / Role:

Responsible for ensuring effective portfolio alignment, capacity planning, and benefits realization across the Bank's digital and fintech initiatives. The role oversees the prioritization and governance of projects and programs to ensure alignment with the Bank's strategic objectives, optimizes resource utilization, and tracks the realization of business value throughout the portfolio lifecycle. By providing structured planning, monitoring, and coordination with business units and strategy functions, the role enables informed decision-making and supports the successful delivery of strategic outcomes.

Areas of responsibility:

Strategic Alignment

  • Leads the portfolio prioritization & alignment with strategic initiatives & objective
  • Ensure the alignment of Projects/Programs with the overall strategic direction of RB throughout the project's lifecycle
  • Prioritize the project portfolio in alignment with the strategic pillars, and initiatives
  • Provide the necessary support to the Corporate Strategy Delivery
  • Contribute in the achievements of the strategic initiatives through proper planning, prioritization, monitoring and controlling

Benefits Realization Management

  • Monitor the delivery of business results expected in the overall portfolio o by applying benefits realization management framework
  • Review the impact of program changes on the business case, and re-forecast value creation/benefit realization
  • Tracks value and benefit realization based on a clear set of KPIs, from discovery till closure

CR Planning

  • Orchestrate the CR quarterly planning with BUs and BT, and plan accordingly with clear priorities, and agreed target delivery dates

Planning capacity

  • Develop the capacity planning to ensure an optimized matching between resources demand and supply
  • Plan for efficient and adequate utilization of resources by applying projects prioritization techniques

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Management, Strategy or Finance

Minimum Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in project management

Language:

English: Advanced

Technical Knowledge areas

  • MS Office: advanced
  • EPM and MS Project: advanced
  • Presentation Skills: advanced
  • Financial Modelling
