We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Linux-based Post-Production Specialist with deep expertise in Cinelerra to support professional broadcast and digital media workflows.
This role is ideal for editors and post-production professionals who operate comfortably in Linux environments and can manage complex, high-resolution video pipelines from edit through final delivery.
Role Overview
You will lead advanced editing, compositing, and finishing workflows using Cinelerra within a Linux ecosystem. The position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, precision in multi-track editing, and the ability to optimize rendering pipelines for performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit, composite, and finalize high-resolution video projects using Cinelerra
- Design and manage complex multi-track timelines
- Apply advanced compositing techniques (motion tracking, chroma keying, layered effects)
- Optimize rendering workflows and media handling within Linux systems
- Troubleshoot codec, format, and hardware compatibility issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align creative and technical execution
- Document workflows and maintain best practices for reproducibility
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in Cinelerra
- Strong experience working in Linux-based video production environments
- Proven ability to manage and optimize high-resolution media files
