Position: Powder Coating LAB Technician

Location: Saudi Arabia – Dammam

Type: Full-time

As a Production Manager at ABYAT, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating all facets of production to ensure the seamless delivery of top-tier products. Your leadership will drive efficiency, optimize resources, and uphold stringent quality standards, thereby contributing significantly to organizational success and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Quality Control ofPretreatment tanks:

• Daily testing of cleaning & etching, rinsing, and conversion coating tanks to ensure proper concentration, pH, conductivity, temperature, and contamination levels.
• Execute the replenishments decided by the production manager.

Process Optimization:

• Adjusting oven temperatures, or spray gun settings based production manager feedback on test results to optimize the production process.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of all tests and deviations, reporting results to production manager.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Calibrating and maintaining lab equipment such as pH meters, coating thickness gauges, and analytical balances.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhering to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, handling chemicals safely, and managing waste disposal.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• BCs in Chemistry, or a related technical field is typically required.
• revious experience in a manufacturing laboratory or quality control role.
• Proficiency in analytical testing procedures and familiarity with chemical safety protocols.
• Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel.
