PR Account Director - Corporate & Finance

Viola Communications is seeking an experienced and dynamic PR Account Director, Corporate & Finance, to join our Public Relations unit. This integral role will focus on overseeing the strategic direction, management, and growth of Viola Communications Corporate and Financial Communications practice. The role involves providing high-level counsel to clients, developing and executing integrated communication strategies, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and leading a team of PR professionals to deliver exceptional client service and business results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic client counsel across corporate and financial communications, acting as a trusted senior advisor to clients.
• Develop and oversee integrated communications strategies aligned with client business objectives, reputation, and stakeholder priorities.
• Lead corporate and financial communications programmes, including financial results, M&A, IPOs, restructuring, corporate announcements, and regulatory communications.
• Drive client growth and new business, identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts and contributing to pitches, proposals, and presentations.
• Oversee account delivery and profitability, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard, on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Contribute to the growth of Viola Communications Corporate & Financial Communications offering by staying ahead of market trends and identifying emerging opportunities.
• Ensure quality and best practice, maintaining high agency standards and ensuring communications are aligned with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry expectations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Master's degree or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
• Minimum 10–12 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, financial communications, or a related field.
• Agency experience managing corporate and financial communications clients is highly preferred.
• Proven experience advising senior executives and managing high-profile communications initiatives.
