We are looking for an experienced Pre-opening Procurement Manager to support the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.
Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt's expansion across the region and will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.
Your Role
As the Pre-Opening Procurement Manager, you'll manage procurement activities and ensure timely sourcing of supplies and equipment required for the hotel opening.
Key Responsibilities
. Manage pre-opening procurement operations and purchasing activities
. Source suppliers and negotiate pricing and contracts
. Ensure timely delivery of supplies, equipment, and materials
. Coordinate with departments to identify operational requirements
. Monitor inventory, budgets, and cost control
. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Qualifications
. Previous experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in hospitality or pre-opening projects
. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
. Good understanding of procurement processes and inventory control
. Strong organizational and planning abilities
. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
. Good communication skills
. Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely
. Excellent English communication
