We work closely with customers to design and deliver security solutions that are implementable, measurable, and aligned to real operational needs.
We're looking to add a technically strong, customer-facing Pre-Sales Engineer who can lead discovery, shape solutions, run demos/POCs, and support proposalswhile partnering closely with sales and delivery teams.
About the Role
As a Pre-Sales Engineer (Sales Engineer Technical), you will be the technical owner in the pre-sales cyclesupporting customer engagements from first meeting through solution design, demo/POC, proposal, and handover. You'll build customer trust, reduce technical uncertainty, and help close opportunities by connecting technical value to business outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, pain points, constraints, and success criteria
- Design solution approaches and service scopes aligned to customer requirements and delivery realities
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, product/service walkthroughs, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
- Support sales with technical qualification, objection handling, and solution positioning
- Produce technical content for proposals and RFPs (architecture diagrams, solution narratives, assumptions/dependencies)
- Act as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and delivery to ensure clean handovers and scope integrity
- Stay current on cybersecurity technologies, threat landscape trends, and best practices relevant to customer conversations
What You'll Need
Must-have
- 24+ years in a Pre-Sales / Sales Engineer / Solutions Engineer (cybersecurity) role
- Strong fundamentals across core domains: networking, endpoints, identity, cloud basics, security logging/monitoring
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable with both technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value (risk reduction, operational improvement, compliance alignment)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Nice-to-have
- Hands-on exposure to any of: SIEM/XDR/EDR, SOC operations, vulnerability management, incident response, IAM/PAM, cloud security, network security, email security, DLP/DSPM
- Experience creating customer-facing solution documents and responding to RFPs
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CCNA, AZ-900/AWS CCP, vendor certs)
