Low Current Systems Pre-Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the technical success of our solutions.
- Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical support during the sales process
- Solution Design: Collaborate with customers to design custom low current systems solutions (e.g., CCTV, Access Control, Video Intercom Public Address systems, Network systems, etc.) based on their needs
- Technical Presentations & Demos: Conduct presentations and product demos to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and capabilities of our low current systems
- RFP/RFI Analysis: Analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) to identify key requirements and technical specifications for potential projects
- Proposals & Documentation: Prepare detailed technical proposals, system designs, and cost estimations for clients
- Project Sizing: Accurately size projects based on the defined scope and customer needs, ensuring realistic and feasible implementations
- Financial Proposals: Develop standard financial proposals, considering both project scope and technical specifications, to ensure they are competitive and meet client expectations
- Collaboration: Work with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure the seamless transition from sales to project execution
- Client Consultation: Act as a technical consultant to clients, answering questions and providing recommendations on the best solutions for their needs
- Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards to provide the most effective solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in low current systems CCTV, Access Control, Video Intercom Public Address systems, Network systems, etc.)
- Solid understanding of low current systems design, installation, and configuration
- Strong communication, presentation & negotiations skills and the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical clients
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Excellent command of English language
