Role Description The Preparatory French Teacher will deliver engaging French language lessons to preparatory-level students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, preparing teaching materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support language acquisition. The teacher will manage classroom activities, create a positive learning environment, and collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student development. Additional tasks include communicating with families when needed, participating in school events, and contributing to continuous improvement of teaching practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in French Teaching and subject-specific Teaching at the preparatory level.
- Experience in Tutoring and providing individualized support to learners with different needs.
- Background in Education and familiarity with age-appropriate pedagogical approaches.
- Ability to participate in Teacher Training and contribute to professional learning communities.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French; working knowledge of English or Arabic is an advantage.
- Relevant degree or diploma in French, Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to create an inclusive, supportive environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Prior experience teaching in a school setting, preferably at the preparatory or middle-school level.
