Prepress Finalizer

About the Job
Elsewedy Print House is looking for an experienced Prepress Finalizer to join our technical and prepress team at our facility in 10th of Ramadan City.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, and finalizing artwork files before production, ensuring that all files meet the technical requirements of offset and digital printing.
Key Responsibilities
• Review customer artwork and ensure files are ready for printing
• Prepare and finalize files for offset and digital printing
• Check dimensions, resolution, fonts, links, colors, and image quality
• Prepare bleed, crop marks, cutting lines, white ink layers, and spot colors
• Review CMYK and Pantone color settings
• Apply overprint, trapping, and color separation when required
• Prepare imposition and production-ready PDF files
• Identify and correct technical errors before production
• Coordinate with the design, production, and printing departments
• Ensure files comply with printing and finishing requirements
• Maintain accuracy while working on multiple projects and deadlines
Job Requirements
• 3 to 5 years of experience in paper printing and prepress operations
• Proven experience as a Finalizer or Prepress Specialist
• Strong knowledge of offset and digital printing processes
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong understanding of CMYK, Pantone, spot colors, and color separation
• Good knowledge of bleed, overprint, trapping, cutting lines, and print-ready files
• Understanding of different paper types and printing finishing techniques
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
• Ability to communicate and work effectively within a team
