Role Purpose
The Sector Presales Consultant is a customer-facing role responsible for shaping, positioning, and validating end-to-end technology solutions aligned with client needs in the assigned sector. The role bridges business requirements and technical solution design, supporting the full presales lifecycle from opportunity qualification through proposal submission and deal support, while ensuring alignment with MIT capabilities, delivery feasibility, and commercial rules.
Key Responsibilities
Presales & Solutioning
- Engage stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements; translate them into solution outcomes and scope modules.
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops; define solution approach, assumptions, dependencies, and success criteria.
- Design and articulate scalable and feasible solutions, including high-level designs (HLDs) and architecture narratives in collaboration with CoEs and delivery SPOCs.
Proposal Development & Bid Management
- Prepare RFP/RFI/RFQ technical responses and proposal inputs with a focus on completeness, quality, and compliance.
- Develop effort estimates and solution sizing inputs using MIT standard estimators and reusable assets; coordinate validation with delivery teams.
- Support proposal presentations, clarifications, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) when required; ensure proposal assumptions and exclusions are explicit.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing sector insights and recommendations aligned with KSA regulations and market practices.
- Work closely with Mobily Presales as the sales gate and align pursuit progression, next actions, and decision requirements.
- Contribute to pursuit documentation: sponsor mapping, win themes, risk register, and proposal readiness checklist.
Market & Asset Development
- Maintain sector knowledge and track relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to reusable presales assets (templates, case studies, accelerators) and sector proposal kits to improve bid speed and quality.
Qualifications & Sector Fit
- Experience in education technologies with exposure to digital learning transformation across public/private education institutions.
- Practical understanding of learning platforms and education sector engagement models (requirements, rollouts, adoption).
- Ability to lead stakeholder workshops and convert needs into solution scope and measurable outcomes.
Technical Experience
- LMS, SIS, and digital learning platforms; integration with identity and access systems.
- Cloud-based education solutions and platform scalability considerations.
- APIs and integration patterns; data and reporting requirements for education analytics.
- Security and privacy-by-design considerations for student/staff data.
Education
Bachelor's in Computer Science / IT / Education Technology.
Key Skills & Competencies (Common)
- Proven presales experience in bid management and client-facing presentations/workshops.
- Strong solutioning and analytical thinking; ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience with estimation/effort sizing and commercial inputs, with strong attention to quality and detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to collaborate across presales, delivery, finance, and partners.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic capability as per role requirements.
- Certifications (nice to have): PMP/PMI-PBA, ITIL, cloud foundations; vendor platform certifications are a plus.

- On-time bid support: 90% of sector bids meet internal deadlines.
