Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Presales Engineer role based in Egypt. The Presales Engineer will work closely with the sales and technical teams to provide technical expertise during the sales process. Responsibilities include creating and delivering technical presentations, assessing client security requirements, preparing proposals, and demonstrating solutions. The engineer will act as a trusted advisor to clients and contribute to developing tailored solutions that meet compliance and cybersecurity needs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and SWIFT CSCF.
  • Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity domains, including vulnerability management, penetration testing concepts, cloud security, and security operations.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity solution design and mapping security services to client requirements.
  • Solid understanding of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) concepts and continuous compliance monitoring methodologies.
  • Experience preparing or supporting technical proposals, solution documentation, or RFP/RFI responses.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including sales, delivery, and technical specialists, while building trusted relationships with clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are considered a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
