Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer Smart Building / BMS who can operate at the intersection of technology and sales. This role will drive both sales development and technical solution design, ensuring Syncrow is positioned as a trusted advisor to clients. You will work closely with sales leadership, operations, and engineering teams to acquire, qualify, and convert opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to understand infrastructure, integration requirements, and operational goals.

Perform site visits to collect data and assess technical feasibility.

Lead solution design workshops and map client pain points to Syncrow's IoT-based automation platform.

Prepare and deliver tailored technical and commercial proposals, including system schematics, functional scope, and integration plans.

Support technical submissions for consultants, developers, and facility managers.

Present Syncrow's capabilities through demos, walkthroughs, and concept design presentations.

Drive client buy-in through ROI calculations and business-case justifications.

Ensure technical alignment and handover with operations and implementation teams post-sale.

Proactively identify and generate new B2B leads through cold outreach, networking, LinkedIn, referrals, and inbound funnel support.

Collaborate with the Team to build and progress a pipeline of smart building opportunities across verticals.

Maintain accurate records of all interactions and lead stages in the CRM system

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics

Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solution engineering in BMS, smart buildings, or IoT domains.

In-depth knowledge of Building Management Systems, lighting controls, energy monitoring, and related automation technologies.

Strong understanding of BACnet, Modbus, Zigbee, KNX, and other building automation protocols.

Demonstrated experience in creating technical documentation, BOQs, and system architecture.

Proven success in client-facing technical discussions, solution pitching, and closing support.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

CRM proficiency (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar).

Fluent in English; Arabic is an added advantage.

Must be currently based in the UAE.

A valid UAE driving license is required.
