About The Role
We are looking for a careful and organized Accountant to join our team at BeCurious Pre School. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, monitoring branch accounts, and preparing financial reports that help improve performance and make decision-making smooth and effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Track daily financial transactions for each branch and ensure all revenues and expenses are recorded accurately.
- Manage accounts for each branch and prepare daily/weekly statements for clear financial visibility.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for each branch and a consolidated report for both branches, analyzing differences and suggesting improvements.
- Handle payroll and employee entitlements accurately for each staff member, including deductions and benefits.
- Manage treasury and cash flow for each branch to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations.
- Oversee bank transfers and payments, and prepare periodic cash flow reports.
- Support financial analysis and planning, preparing forecasts and reports that assist management in decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with nursery financial policies and procedures, reviewing invoices and expenses carefully.
- Communicate effectively and politely with parents and suppliers to ensure smooth collection and payment processes.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years or more of experience in managing accounts, preferably within multi-branch organizations, is considered a strong advantage.
- Comfortable working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, and Advanced Excel, or similar systems.
- Good understanding of local financial and tax regulations in Kuwait.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with great attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and easy-to-understand financial reports for management.
- A friendly, professional communicator who works well with colleagues, management, and clients.
- Ability to communicate comfortably in both Arabic and English is preferred.
