Job Description
Role Purpose
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the efficient and high-quality cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing of linens, garments, and other laundry items. This role ensures cleanliness standards are consistently met and supports smooth daily operations within the facility

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the efficient and high-quality cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing of linens, garments, and other laundry items. This role ensures cleanliness standards are consistently met and supports smooth daily operations within the facility
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press laundry items according to fabric type and care instructions
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment safely and efficient.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or special treatment requirements
- Treat stains using appropriate cleaning techniques and products
- Keep laundry area clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards
- Track inventory of linens, detergents, and supplies; report shortages as needed
- Handle guest or client laundry requests promptly and professionally (if applicable)
- Follow company procedures for lost-and-found items
- Assist with additional housekeeping or operational tasks when required
- Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, or similar roles preferred
- Ability to operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Good time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and safety procedures
