PRICING OFFICER (WITH OPERATIONS EXPOSURE) | Logistics | Dubai, UAE (Exclusive)

A fast-growing logistics business in Dubai is expanding and they need a hands-on Pricing Officer who understands both pricing and operations (because great pricing only works when it matches reality on the ground).

This role suits someone who can build smart, competitive pricing, protect margin, and work closely with ops teams to make sure every assumption holds up from quote to delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Owning pricing & cost modelling across logistics services and customer requirements
• Creating clear pricing structures that balance competitiveness + profitability
• Working closely with operations to validate cost drivers (labour, transport, warehousing, last mile, etc.)
• Supporting RFQs/RFPs, bids, tenders and customer proposals with accurate, commercial pricing
• Leading / supporting rate negotiations with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders
• Driving process optimisation to reduce cost leakage and improve pricing accuracy
• Ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance and internal governance expectations in the UAE

What we're looking for

• Experience in pricing within logistics / supply chain / freight / warehousing environments
• Operational understanding (you know what actually drives cost and where margins get lost)
• Strong skills in cost modelling, scenario planning, and commercial analysis
• Confident communicator who can work across ops + sales teams (and push back when needed)
• Solid negotiation skills and attention to detail
• Practical mindset: accurate, fast, and solutions-focused
