Primary school teacher

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Primary School Teacher role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Primary School Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and learning objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching core subjects, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to learners and families. The teacher will manage classroom behavior, create a positive and inclusive learning environment, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Additional duties include collaborating with colleagues, participating in staff meetings and professional development, and contributing to school events and activities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Teaching, Elementary Education, and Education, with a focus on primary school learners.
• Experience in Curriculum Development, including planning, organizing, and adapting learning materials for diverse student needs.
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with learners, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field; teaching certification or license is preferred.
• Proven classroom management skills and the ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and assessment.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth, reflective practice, and collaboration within a team-based school culture.
• Prior experience teaching in a primary school setting and familiarity with international or local curricula is an advantage.
