Design Engineering and Delivery
Job Purpose
The role is responsible for facilitating the delivery of high-quality visualization and technical validation by
leading projects within Visualisation, coordinating with Design, CAS, CMF, and Engineering teams, and
developing, preparing, and organizing accurate, detailed, and robust data management and validation
practices to support effective design evaluation and decision-making.
Key Functional Responsibilities
- Organize digital assets, CAD datasets, and variant sets to support efficient validation workflows and reviews.
- Gather required CAS & engineering data and prepare CAD overlays within visualization tools (e.g. Autodesk VRED) to support technical reviews.
- Facilitate VR reviews and technical validation sessions with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and structured feedback capture.
- Collaboratively configure & run NViz sessions within VRED to facilitate perceived quality reviews
- Maintain & calibrate fully motorized VR buck and facilitate VR reviews using the equipment.
- Set up and keep VR and visualization hardware calibrated, functional, and ready for stakeholder sessions.
- Help improve visualisation pipelines by identifying inefficiencies and supporting automation initiatives (e.g., scripting, process enhancements).
- Develop and apply best practices for data preparation, visualization, and validation processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, CAS, CMF, Engineering, Manufacturing) to align validation activities with project objectives.
- Apply industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines within all validation and prototype-related activities.
- Keep asset libraries, validation records, and documentation updated and structured for traceability and reuse.
Job Requirement
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or Equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience
