Job Summary
The Principal Functional Consultant is responsible for leading the identification, design, and implementation of SAP solutions that align with client business requirements. This role plays a key leadership position in delivering complex SAP programs, ensuring best-practice process design, and driving successful stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional requirement gathering and business process workshops with clients.
- Design end-to-end SAP solutions aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Configure SAP modules to ensure alignment with defined business processes.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and collaborate closely with technical teams.
- Support system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Assist in end-user training, knowledge transfer, and change management activities.
- Lead and mentor junior functional consultants and provide technical guidance.
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and SAP technical resources.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1215 years of hands-on SAP consulting experience.
- Deep expertise in one or more SAP modules such as SAP MM, SD, and FICO.
- Proven experience leading SAP implementation projects and functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in large-scale or enterprise SAP environments is highly preferred.
