Role Overview

We're seeking a Lead/Principal Software Engineer to join our Events team. You will be responsible for architecting and leading the development of high-performance, scalable backend solutions that power Goldcast's webinar platform. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence, make critical architectural decisions, and help scale our infrastructure to support our rapidly growing enterprise customer base.

Here's What You Need:

  • 8+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems
  • Strong expertise in system design, microservices architecture, and API design
  • Deep understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and high availability
  • Proven track record of leading technical initiatives across multiple teams
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise cloud infrastructure and distributed systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Expertise in backend technologies like Java, Go, or Python
  • Experience with distributed databases, caching systems, and message queues
  • Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and operational excellence
  • Proven ability to mentor other engineers and influence technical decisions
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a top-tier institution (IITs, NITs, BITs or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in real-time video streaming technologies and WebRTC
  • Experience in designing and building Enterprise software for extensibility and scale.
  • Background in building reliable, fault-tolerant enterprise systems
