Position Overview

Details of the Division and Team:

Based in Dubai, this Event Marketing role in the Private Bank Emerging Markets Marketing team plays a key part in shaping and executing the businesses global event strategy. With the focus on events in the Middle East, the role-holder will work closely with key stakeholders to plan, coordinate and execute marketing events in line with the business strategy.

Your key responsibilities:


  • Reports to the Head of Marketing for Private Bank Emerging Markets.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events on a regional and global scale with a focus on business strategic partnerships
  • Collaboration with other bank divisions and stakeholders to define event goals and support the seamless execution of events
  • Effectively manage and partner with external vendors and internal teams to coordinate all aspects of regional and global event planning to ensure the delivery of quality of client engagement
  • Requirement to liaise with senior management and offices to ensure smooth coordination of client invitation process
  • Manage event budgets, track spend against purchase orders, reconcile costs, and drive cost-efficiencies where possible
  • Oversee the client journey across regional and global events, optimising the delegate management system and enhancing digital tools (digital ticketing, on-site reporting app and delegate apps)
  • Deliver event registration and attendance reports, providing strategically thought-through, accurate and valuable business focused data insights

Your skills and experience:


  • Graduate degree
  • At least 7+ years of experience in event management with financial institutions or the luxury industry.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate within a team environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with good presentation and organisation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with excellent stakeholder management ability.
  • Possess a positive and agile mindset.
  • Occasional international travel may be required for event coordination, client meetings or on-site support
  • Strong PowerPoint and excel skills
