About the Role
The role offers the opportunity to contribute to efficient knitting operations by enhancing processes, supporting training initiatives, and maintaining quality and performance standards across the department.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Review, maintain, and continuously improve departmental processes and training systems.
- Deliver employee training, maintain training records, and support competency development through coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and customer audit requirements.
- Conduct routine audits to identify process deviations, machine issues, and operational risks.
- Perform daily quality checks in collaboration with the production and PC teams to identify and resolve fabric-related issues.
- Monitor production efficiency, cycle times, and work-in-progress to ensure operational targets are achieved.
- Investigate process, fabric, and equipment issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Coordinate with production, quality, trainers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and process alignment.
- Prepare and follow up on handling analysis, risk reports, and corrective action plans.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve machinery performance, process efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support departmental objectives by undertaking additional responsibilities as required.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Textile Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in textile manufacturing (Dyeing Dep.).
- Strong knowledge of textile production processes and machine troubleshooting.
- Experience with ERP reporting and quality standards (ISO awareness).
- Lean Manufacturing and 5S knowledge.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to train, guide, and develop team members.
