Location: Saudi Arabia (onsite, approximately 90km north of Jeddah)
Contract: Until the end of 2027 with strong potential for extension

An Exciting Opportunity to Join a Major EV Manufacturing Launch
We are supporting a global automotive manufacturing programme involving the launch of a state-of-the-art electric drive unit production facility. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in establishing new manufacturing operations from the ground up, supporting the installation, commissioning, qualification and ramp-up of advanced e-powertrain production lines.
As a Process Engineer, you will be at the forefront of a large-scale electric vehicle manufacturing launch, working within a highly international environment and helping to bring cutting-edge technology into full-scale production.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop manufacturing processes within your designated production area
- Lead equipment commissioning, qualification activities and production readiness
- Drive APQP, PPAP and process validation activities
- Optimise cycle times, line balancing and manufacturing efficiency
- Lead root cause investigations and structured problem-solving activities
- Improve quality, yield, downtime performance and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Implement process controls, SPC and traceability systems
- Work closely with suppliers, quality teams and production stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout ramp-up and full-scale production
- Train and mentor production technicians and operators
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
- Strong process engineering experience within automotive, powertrain, electronics, electric motors, battery, or related manufacturing sectors
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans and process validation
- Strong knowledge of SPC, DOE, MSA and capability analysis
- Hands-on experience supporting production lines and manufacturing operations
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English communication skills
Highly Desirable
- Experience in EV, e-motor, inverter, power electronics or e-axle manufacturing
- Greenfield plant launch or large-scale manufacturing ramp-up experience
- IATF 16949 exposure
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience with automation, robotics or advanced manufacturing technologies
