Specific functions:
- Execution of Process activities in the Project / Proposal Unit/Area in terms of cost, quality and schedule.
- Supervision and follow up of procedures and Project specifications.
- Understanding and disclosure the Project / Proposal scope as well as the contract.
- Attendance at Project / Proposals meetings, with Project management and the Client when required.
- Detection of actions that result in deviations from the objectives and communication to Process Leader.
- Follow up of the Project planning.
- Provide information about the unit/Area to the weekly progress report.
- Supply of information required for updating Plan4E, periodically.
- Follow up of the working method in the Project.
- Detection of NVATs and NdCs and communication to Process Leader.
- Approval and signing of documents generated in the unit/Area. Responsible for the Process activities performed in the Project unit/Area.
- Changes minimization in the Project execution, mainly those affecting other Departments. Approval of changes. In case of changes are finally needed, those shall be informed to other disciplines by the proper way established in the Project (formal written communication, i.e. NdC application).
- Specific follow up and detailed revision evaluating changes impact of Unit/Area P&IDs for every issue.
- Quality assurance for P&IDs and Line List applying specific checking procedures.
Requirements:
Valid MMUP/UPDA First Category Engineer certification/registration
- Minimum 12–15 years of relevant engineering experience, including substantial experience in Qatar/GCC;
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline;
- Strong relevant Engineering and Project experience;
- Previous experience working on major projects in Qatar is highly preferred;
- Good knowledge of Qatar Engineering standards, regulations, and Project requirements;
- Strong communication, coordination, and technical skills.
