Job Purpose
The Paint Shop is responsible for efficiently managing all paint shop processes to ensure stable mass production that meets safety, quality, and production targets.
Key Accountabilities
[Equipment management]
- Design and manage conveyors, automation equipment for mass production
- Supervise the installation of paint factory equipment
- Select appropriate tools for each workplace and request purchase
- Daily check and standard management of quality equipment
[Investigating local environment]
- Survey sub-material for paint shop in KSA (e.g: vinyl, cleaning service, glove, grease, etc.)
- Monitor the inventory status of the sub-material and order and supply them
into Paint Shop for preventing line stop
- Conduct equipment investment to enhance and performance
- Conduct training to worker with a deep understanding of production
- Check equipment and quality condition in the production line
- Analysis of Inspection result
[New plant project]
- Request for correction of abnormalities in the manufacturing and installation of equipment.
- Check production requisite items for equipment installation. (document, punch list, etc.)
- Arrange production training by the supplier and transfer knowledge to the worker
- Prepare machine training, production manuals, & Develop local supporting suppliers and support to
hire employee
- Must be able to prepare reports as part of job duties and be available for day/night shift work if required.
[Other Tasks]
- Conduct paint shop safety coordinator
- Conduct management orders related production
Job-Specific Accountabilities
College / University degrees in, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering related
Ability to read and write English
Having knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and power point
Ability to understand drawings and specifications of electrical and mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Experience:
1) 4-8 years of experience in an automotive paint shop, including:
Paint shop operations and process control within a mass production environment.
2) Management of paint materials, chemical systems (pretreatment/CWS), and environmental controls.
3) Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a paint shop or manufacturing facility.
4) Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams, such as quality, maintenance, production planning, and suppliers.
5) Experience in start-up, ramp-up, or new model launch is preferred.
