Process Excellence & SOP Lead

We are looking for a Process Excellence & SOP Lead to review and update process and SOP documentation for our client, one of the largest groups in Dubai. This role requires strong experience in process mapping, SOP standardization, and working with cross-functional teams across Finance, Procurement, and Human Capital.

This is a contract role with an initial duration of 3 months and is renewable and reports to the Business Excellence and Transformation Director within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct process discovery workshops to document current (as-is) processes.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses across workflows.
• Develop future state (to-be) Level 4 process maps aligned to BPMN or EPC standards.
• Design and implement a standardized SOP template structure and documentation approach.
• Update SOP documentation to reflect redesigned processes.
• Ensure consistency in structure, terminology, and controls across Finance, Procurement, and Human Capital processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder walkthroughs and validation sessions for updated processes.
• Support change management activities and clarify ownership through defined RACI structures.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in process mapping using BPMN, EPC, or similar standards.
• Experience developing Level 4 process documentation within complex organizations.
• Manager-level consulting experience within a Big 4 or similar environment preferred.
• Strong analytical capability and experience facilitating process discovery workshops.
• Experience designing and standardizing SOP templates and documentation frameworks.
• Ability to translate business requirements into structured process documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills when working with senior leadership.
