As part of our ongoing expansion and focus on robust governance, we are seeking a Process Improvement Senior Manager with specialized experience in container and multi-purpose port operations.

Purpose of the Job:

The Process Improvement Manager is Responsible for delivering high-impact improvement projects and embedding a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) across the organization. Drives Continuous Improvement deployment, coaches Green Belts and Kaizen leaders, and strengthens CI capabilities across terminals and functions ensuring that improvements are practical, measurable, and aligned with RSGT's strategic priorities. This role is empowered to lead complex initiatives and influence outcomes, and operates under the strategic direction and governance of the Director, Process Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Improvement Execution

1- Lead and manage complex Six Sigma projects to drive measurable improvements, cost reduction, and service enhancement.

2- Work with business units to identify and prioritize initiatives aligned with corporate goals.

3- Apply Lean Six Sigma and structured problem-solving to streamline processes, reduce waste, and boost productivity.

4- Support project charters, business cases, and post-implementation reviews per PEX governance standards.

5- Track and report project progress, financial benefits, and sustainability metrics.

  • Capability Development & Culture Building

1- Coach and mentor Green Belts, Kaizen leaders, and CI practitioners to strengthen problem-solving capability.

2- Lead Yellow Belt and Kaizen training to build engagement and a hands-on improvement mindset.

3- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through storytelling, recognition, and best-practice sharing.

4- Support rollout of Ways of Working frameworks and CI maturity assessments to standardize processes.

5- Role model data-driven decision-making and structured improvement practices.

  • Kaizen & Rapid Improvement

1- Plan, facilitate, and follow up on Kaizen events targeting bottlenecks and quick wins.

2- Engage frontline and supervisory teams to identify opportunities and implement countermeasures.

3- Document and replicate successful Kaizen practices across departments and terminals.

  • . Analytics & Performance Management

1- Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and generate actionable insights.

2- Support CI dashboards and performance scorecards development and maintenance.

3- Provide data-based recommendations for BU Heads review and endorsement.

  • Collaboration & Engagement

1- Partner with functional heads and CI champions to maintain alignment and support for CI initiatives.

2- Contribute to governance forums, progress reviews, and communication sessions to showcase achievements.

3- Promote a collaborative, knowledge-sharing approach where team successes are celebrated.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in Process Excellence management within the maritime sector or an equivalent industry.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.
