Process Safety Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineer with more than 8 years in Oil & Gas industry at engineer level.

Should be familiar with P&ID, Control philosophy and Control Narrative (Mandatory)

Design experience at various stages of project lifecycle such as FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction Engineering, Commissioning & Pre commissioning

Profound familiarity with ADNOC group standards

Previous experience as a Lead Engineer in a project or department

Excellent understanding of Process Safety

Good understanding of Environmental Safety & Occupational Safety

Extensive exposure to project workshops such as HAZOP, PHA, Bowtie, IVB, QRA, Drop Object analysis, risk rating, and analysis

Preference will be given to candidates approved by regulatory bodies or OPCOs

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems for assigned projects or facilities

Conduct risk assessments, including HAZOPs, JHA, and LOPA studies, to identify and mitigate potential hazards

Review engineering designs and procedures to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations

Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes in the UAE

Strong understanding of relevant UAE and international HSE regulations (e.g., ADNOC, API)

Excellent risk assessment and auditing skills

Proficiency in HSE software applications

Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems
