Position: Procore Implementation Engineer

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing is a leading technology solutions provider based in Cairo, Egypt. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procore Implementation Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a Procore Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and customizing the Procore construction management software for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions using Procore's features and functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

The Procore Implementation Engineer is responsible for configuring, integrating, and deploying the Procore construction management platform for internal teams or external clients. This role works closely with project stakeholders to understand business processes, translate requirements into technical solutions, migrate data, configure workflows, and ensure successful user adoption.

The ideal candidate combines knowledge of construction operations with strong technical, analytical, and customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end Procore implementations, from discovery and
  
  

solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.

• Gather and document business, technical, reporting, security, and
  
  

integration requirements.

• Configure Procore modules such as Project Management, Financial
  
  

Management, Quality & Safety, Resource Management, and Preconstruction.

• Establish project templates, permissions, workflows, custom fields,
  
  

cost structures, and reporting standards.

• Work with Procore APIs, middleware, and integration platforms to design and troubleshoot data flows.
• Plan and execute data migrations, including data mapping, cleansing,
  
  

validation, and reconciliation.

• Develop test plans and coordinate unit, integration, and
  
  

user-acceptance testing.

• Diagnose configuration, integration, permission, and data-quality issues.
• Create technical documentation, configuration guides, process maps,
  
  

and support procedures.

• Train administrators, project teams, and end users on system
  
  

functionality and recommended practices.

• Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, finance, IT,
  
  

vendors, and Procore representatives.

• Provide post-implementation support and recommend improvements based
  
  

on usage, feedback, and business needs.

• Maintain awareness of Procore product updates and evaluate their
  
  

impact on existing configurations and integrations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, construction
  
  

management, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Two or more years of experience implementing, administering, or
  
  

supporting Procore or a comparable construction-management platform.

• Understanding of construction processes, including RFIs, submittals,
  
  

drawings, commitments, change orders, budgets, invoicing, and project closeout.

• Experience with system configuration, requirements gathering, process
  
  

analysis, testing, and deployment.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods, and system
  
  

integrations.

• Experience working with data imports, exports, transformation, and
  
  

validation.

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and
  
  

stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Procore certification or demonstrated experience across multiple
  
  

Procore product areas.

• Experience integrating Procore with ERP or accounting systems such as
  
  

Sage, Viewpoint Vista, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.

• Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or integration
  
  

platforms.

• Familiarity with SSO, identity management, security roles, and
  
  

permission structures.

• Experience working for a general contractor, specialty contractor,
  
  

construction consultancy, or construction technology provider.

• Understanding of change management and enterprise software adoption.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in implementing and customizing Procore for construction management
• Strong understanding of construction industry processes and workflows
• Proficient in Procore's modules, templates, and workflows
• Experience in data analysis and process optimization
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to stay updated with Procore's latest features and functionalities
