Job Description

Solutions+ is looking for Procurement Business Planning & Performance Manager to manage internal and external projects in the form of lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new avenues of revenue, new service offering, develop operating model for the new procurement services following current procurement trends (ESG, SRM, SME, ICV, etc)
  • Establish communications to the wider business to ensure good visibility and buy-in for improvement initiatives across procurement
  • Design and deliver training programs to key stakeholder groups to effectively use procurement services across internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the analysis, design and delivery of initiatives aimed at crating valu-add and strategic services to optimise procurement's performance and expand the current scope of services
  • Conduct regular review of external environment and benchmarks to compare S+ approach to planning and performance with similar organizations to implement best practices and identify new service offerings
  • Establish, implement and conduct periodic business development plan, in line with agreed frequency and in liaison with key stakeholders
  • BE the main POOC for the Sales and Account Management Team to ensure a robust sales pipeline, providing all technical inputs required to develop and deliver new business
  • Build and maintain robust client relationships with regular operational/procurement stakeholder client meetings
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, understand their business needs, and determine the best approach to offer our procurement services
  • Develop and deliver persuasive technical presentations and technical proposals to potential clients
  • Establish relationship with key stakeholder groups and communicate the benefits and value proposition of procurement service and offerings
  • Conduct data analytics on the current client data to identify further up-sell opportunities with existing clients and internal stakeholders (e.g. Scope 3 data to develop tailored proposals that allow us to engage in consultancy services or other equivalent engagement for sustainable procurement services)
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation and spearhead an agenda of continuos growth
  • Monitor and own the annual business plan,under the leadership of the Department Head, to ensure business goals are met, revenue targets are hit,gross profit objectives are met and the overall business status of the department remains healthy
  • Develop business case and proposals for internal and external clients highlighting the benefits and value of new service offerings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Business Management or equivalent. CIPS certification will be an advantage.
  • 8+ years of experience in a procurement role with emphasis on processes and systems and 3 + years experience in a business development role
  • MBA preferable.
