Job Description

Job Purpose

Perform, coordinate and execute Ground and Cargo purchasing and sourcing activities of medium complexity and address non-standard tasks according to established purchasing policies and procedures to ensure purchasing activities are executed in EAS best interest.

Job Accountabilities

  • Perform, coordinate, and execute purchasing and sourcing activities of medium complexity according to established purchasing policies and procedures to ensure purchasing activities are executed in Veloras best interest.
  • Negotiate with recurrent suppliers to improve service and quality levels and ensure contracts within assigned portfolio deliver full life value for money according to Veloras strategy and guidelines.
  • Ask quotations, analyze proposals, and monitor contract terms and conditions, to adequately plan and deliver contracts and amendments in a timely and effective manner to serve Veloras best interest.
  • Organize and develop RFP and RFQ documentations according to established policies and procedure to ensure Veloras requirements are captured effectively.
  • Reviews draft contracts with Procurement Manager and provides executive summaries for the purpose of internal sign off and approval.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Veloras suppliers by collecting and providing all required information, to ensure contractual terms and conditions are met.
  • Monitor and analyze new products and suppliers in the marketplace to suggest new initiatives to increase cost efficiency.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality goods and services.
  • Oversee the end-to-end contracting process, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal and other stakeholders to develop and review contracts, ensuring accuracy and risk mitigation.
  • Lead and manage corporate procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management.
  • Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability.
  • Prepare presentation and report of the work and discuss with line manager.
  • Willing to support line manager for any additional work.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree level of education.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Multinational Companies in relevant field (Procurement &Supply Chain Management).
  • Knowledge / familiarization of ground and Cargo systems and maintenance requirements.
  • Solid report writing, data analysis, analytical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge and Skills in Ariba / SAP / Microsoft dynamic.
  • Good knowledge of contracts.
  • Knowledge / familiarization of aircraft systems and maintenance requirements.
  • Solid report writing, data analysis, analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent Excel / Word / PowerPoints skills.
