Procurement Engineer

Job Description:

- Issue inquiries to vendors with specifications, BOQ, Drawings, and other necessary documents. Follow up to obtain timely quotations.

- Review and evaluate vendor quotations for compliance with specifications, delivery requirements and commercial terms.

- Prepare techno-commercial comparison sheets.

- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers. Prepare and Issue LPO/Subcontract Agreements for selected vendors

- Coordinate and monitor material and prequalification submissions to secure Engineers/Client's approval.

- Maintain supplier evaluation forms, supply risk assessments while developing strong relationships with key suppliers.

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to enhance material quality, service performance, and commercial competitiveness.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

- Professional Degree in CIPS (ideal but not Mandatory)

- 4 to 6years experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of standards & codes as per the UAE law

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Can join immediately or within 1 month notice period
